The primary steps to a complete skincare routine are:

Cleansing helps rid your face of excess oil, impurities, makeup, bacteria, and dead skin. Gentle and mild cleansers help set a good foundation for your skincare. Using cleansing brushes can help provide a thorough cleanse. Make sure the bristles aren't too harsh as they may cause irritation and redness.

Chemical exfoliation is HOT & TRENDING these days. AHA stands for alpha-hydroxy acid—a type of acid that is derived from sugarcane, milk, or fruit. AHAs work by peeling away the dead skin cells on the skin surface, revealing the fresh new skin cells underneath. BHA stands for beta-hydroxy acid, a type of acid found in willow tree bark, or sweet birch bark. BHAs are chemical exfoliators that soften and dissolve keratin, a protein that forms part of the skin structure. BHAs help unclog pores and also help to regulate cell turnover. These rejuvenate the skin, giving you a radiant and glowing appearance.
